ABOUT TREY
My whole life has revolved around sports in some way, shape, or form since before I could even walk. I was going to Clemson football games before I was even born. My first birthday party was at Death Valley. My dad and I would go to our local Bi-Lo when Coach Swinney would tour for his Tiger Hour radio show.
As soon as I was able to, my parents enrolled me in any sport I could play. I did not view the seasons as Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall, I viewed them as Basketball, Baseball (later Lacrosse), Swimming, and Football. When people would ask me what my favorite sport was, I would respond simply with “Whichever season it is.”
As I got older, I realized that my brain was my ticket to the sports industry and could take me further than my body could. I lived to consume as much sports content as I could, especially when the organization itself created it, which led me to my love for athletic communications.
I first joined Clemson Athletic Communications for the 2024 Clemson Regional and later the Clemson Super Regional. Working those two events confirmed to me that I wanted to do that for as long as I could. My first full year with the department was 2024-25 where I got lucky enough to work with three ACC Championship winning teams. I sat in the press box for football, track, and softball doing whatever was asked of me, whether that was running stats to the TV booth, writing game recaps, running social media, and anything in between.
Upon graduation, I am looking to become a Communications/Sports Information Graduate Assistant at a Division I school to both continue my education and further my career. Until then, I’m blooming where I’ve been planted and I’m working on making the most out of my senior year at Clemson!
This is my girlfriend Hannah. I couldn’t do what I do without her!
